In late August, we had an evening of firsts: the first time we’ve ever publicly recognized our monthly supporters, the Bucks for Babies, at an evening appreciation event, where we simply said “thank you!” It was also the first public event at the newly renovated and historic Tea Room in the Wilkins Building in downtown Des Moines! Thanks to Blackbird Investments, the Tea Room, and Trellis Catering for making it such a special evening for us!
