Christmas is a time of year for presents and giving. Some of our families even have gift exchanges.
One family, from Indiana, chose to mix things up this year.
The Quinn family expressed their gratitude that, even though 2020 has had its fair share of challenges and obstacles, Joanne and four adult, married children (Sara, Megan, Katie, and Christopher) all have been healthy, have growing families – in total, there are 14 grandchildren! – sustainable jobs, and warm homes.
And so, this year, they’ve chosen to forego their annual family Christmas gift exchange and, instead, they have chosen to make a collective, year-end charitable gift to InnerVisions and our life-affirming mission totaling $900!
We’re grateful to the Quinn family for their legacy of generosity and their spirit of “paying it forward”!
Maybe it’ll inspire other families to do something similar to their church or favorite charity.
