During the month of January, we observe Sanctity of Human Life Day, which is the Sunday nearest the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  This year, we mourn the loss of nearly 60 million children as a result of that Supreme Court ruling.  But we also grieve with the nearly 60 million mothers who have made that decision.  Our nurses meet with patients who have had abortions and are struggling with the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual consequences of their decision.

**We’re eager to share with you another woman’s post-abortion healing support group beginning in February.  Kris Gaspari, Director of Post-Abortive Healing at IVHCare, will facilitate this opportunity for healing, once again. If you are suffering emotionally and spiritually after an abortion, give us a call and ask for Jenny or send her an email.  It’s a safe and confidential place to begin the healing you deserve.**

As we look to February and Valentine’s Day, the Knights of Columbus at St. Anthony are organizing a Daddy Daughter Valentine’s Dance, and a portion of the proceeds supports IVHCare.  For more information, contact Paul Comito (comitop2@yahoo.com) or call the parish office at 243-1874.

May God bless you!
